Elsa Orozco-Toops

Ms. Elsa Orozco-Toops is a member of Washu Kai (Japanese Painting Association), the South Bayfront Artists Association, and the Chula Vista Art Guild .  She exhibits her work at Galería del Sol in Rosarito Beach, and has had exhibits in the United States as well as in Mexico.  She is devoted to the service of cultural and artistic pursuits in both countries. She has three master’s degrees in Writing Studies, Spanish, and Education, and a Bachelor’s in Art from San Diego State University.  She taught art in San Diego City Schools and the Sweetwater Union High School District.

Ms. Orozco-Toops has won first and second prizes in sumi-e painting at the San Diego County Fair, and several first prizes in oil painting.  She is a resident of San Diego, CA.
